Is stability success?

I expect to see Arteta, Baines, Fellaini, Rodwell, Jagielka, and Moyes leave the club over the next 2 years. I'm sure these players and the manager are fed up with stability and know that the club has now come to a complete standstill and that no billionaire would consider changing our fortunes.
As time passes, our current stability will turn into decline not success and all problems will deepen... So what can Everton do? If we accept this situation we just carry on watching Man City and Chelsea win the things we used to win.
To compete with today's big clubs, Everton need their own state-of-the-art stadium. Do Everton have the finances or are they able to attract such finances on their own? No.
How can Everton be successful again? The only solution is to share an 80,000-seater with Liverpool. I don't know how it is going to be financed but it has to happen. The revenue from this stadium must out perform Man Utd and Arsenal. This is the only way Everton are going to attract a multi/billionaire owner. The same is true for Liverpool.

We will probably finish 7th and have been absolutely shite for the most part. Just think what could happen if we went out with tactics that tried to WIN our games.
An 80,000-seater stadium won't solve our problems because the way the team plays will not attract enough punters to fill it. Then we'll become an even bigger laughing stock playing in front of a half-empty stadium. Slowly but surely, die-hards that I know (myself included) are being driven away by the dour defensive SHITE that our so-called GREAT manager serves up every week.
If we had tried to beat shite like WBA, Newcastle, West Ham, Wolves etc instead of playing one man upfront (especially at home) then maybe WE would be in the top four and Champions League which in turn would attract the type of investment and class of player I would dearly love to see at Everton.
Do you honestly believe that a new stadium will change Moyes's style of play... It might give him more cash but he'll just waste it on garbage like Bily (£10 million OMG)... Based on his big money sigings, I wouldn't trust Moyes converted with a large amount of cash.
Win some trophies, qualify for the top four on a regular basis, and investment will follow.
Man City attracted a billionaire investor only because they had a state-of-the-art stadium. In today's football, the infrastructure has to be in place and then the big investment follows.
We played Champions League Man City at home with a 4-5-1 and won that one, and then WBA away with 4-5-1 and didn't score at all. I basically disagree with the statement that one-man up means it's negative.
And about the Moyes signings, I totally disagree, I mean see his record on most signings and compare with most managers (maybe not SAF or Kenny Daglish) level but his record is much much better than most.
Our best hope and the cheapest option is redeveloping Goodison.
With regards to Moyes's big money signings, which one exactly has been an overwhelming success...???
They will follow the Red Sox model and redevelop Anfield. Anfield will improve to the point where it's an excellent stadium and matchday experience steeped in history.
Watch the next 5 years as owners who know what they are doing improve LFC exponentially.
Everton is about to get a lesson on how to run a football club from a bunch of baseball Yanks, and it's going to be painful to observe. John Henry and Company are brilliant businessmen. It's going to be painful to see, but it's as inevitable as death and taxes.
Nearly every game we play we start with the notion we are protecting a nil-nil draw, one point already ours. Typical of a manager who lacks confidence. Then, in most cases when we go behind, Moyes opens up and plays more attacking style football, but with a leash still on. Look at WBA game: THREE centre halves and THREE right backs... sounds familiar? Walter Moyes!
We have a good squad of players considering lack of money. What would a manager with confidence and attacking style do with this squad? We'll finish 7th by playing the percentage game, where would we have finished going for the win from the kick-off???
What is the solution?
An 80k stadium of course!!!!!!!

There are already question-marks as to how Manchester City will be able to be eligible for future European competitions, though the cash boost of qualifying for next season?s Champion?s League will certainly help, and Chelsea are already trimming their wages expenditure in readiness.
In all probability, the likes of Abramovich and Sheik Mansour have probably bought their way in to the game just in time but, in future, mega-rich benefactors are likely to find that, as far as football is concerned, their wealth counts for far, far less than it used to.
The Anfield development will not compete with Man Utd and Arsenal and the other Euro giants. Chelsea and Man City will out-compete them with pure cash from their owners. Developing Anfield will not result in the level of on-field success that they wish for.
Of course a new 80,000 shared stadium can generate revenue through music events, Euro football finals, Rugby League finals that currently Old Trafford is attracting. The facilities will be shared and the ground will be used twice as much as any stadium in the country, reducing costs and increasing revenues compared to its rivals. It's a money spinner and the billionaires will swarm all over it.
We need a striker who can score goals but that would mean breaking the wages of Arteta. We are going to have to sell Bily, Yakubu, Vaughan, Anichebe, Heitinga and Fellaini if he wont sign another contract. Sturridge from Chelsea would be a good choice...
Let's think this one out. If we fire Moyes, it's a gamble.
Risk: Being relegated.
Reward: We get to watch nicer football.
It's what they did at Blackburn. Under Kean, they play (or attempt to play) Barca/Arsenal style smooth flowing, passing football. They suck. They don't have the money to put together a team that can out-football the top tier of the Prem... and neither do we.
Teams that don't have enough money to compete have to play more like Stoke etc and employ a "Dogs of War" tactic.
This is what "doing the best he can with the resources he has" means in regards to Moyes. He does what he has to do even though it's not always pretty and people complain about it.
Well, look at Blackburn. They got their wish. Is that really what we want at Everton?
Sorry but it all goes back upstairs ? no vision, no plan and no money when we need it.
Wouldn't say stability's the word though, more like stagnation.
Why does "reward" stop at "watching nicer football"?
Could it not include winning something?

Moyes's problem is not preventing losses. Only a couple or three EPL teams have lost fewer games than EFC over the last couple of years. And those are teams at the top.
The difference is they have genuine goal scorers who frighten opposing managers and players alike. We don't. So the low scoring, can't score on teams that park the bus, outplay higher standing clubs but draw or lose, is constantly with us.
It's predators we lack.
On the other hand, never believed these made-up "$400 million needed" numbers tossed around about a new stadium when Goodison can be spruced up just like Fenway was.
Nonetheless, ugh.
By the way, "a bunch of baseball Yanks"? Well-said. Hahahahaha.

What difference would it make then? So Everton will start winning things and Liverpool FC not ? by sharing the same stadium?
It all ended miserably. But for one: Man Utd.

He has become too close to the players, never drops his favorites. Look at yakubu for instance: he has his best game in years against the Shite then, guess what ? he is dropped, never to be seen again... Yet Big Vic stinks the place out week on week yet he starts!! Mind boggling stuff.
A new manager would get rid of the deadwood an maybe just maybe play the players in there natural position!! It's not fucking rocket science... Moyes out!
