Beleaguered Wenger to return with new Jags bid

Arsene Wenger is ready to make some waves in the transfer market after his side's poor start to the Premier League season and a revised bid for Phil Jagielka is on the cards according to The Mirror.

Having had offers of £10m and £12m rejected already, the Gunners' boss will have to Everton's reputed £20m asking price before they'll contemplate selling one of their prized assets.

Jagielka himself is said to be settled at Goodison and not looking to move, leaving the decision in David Moyes's hands.
