Cahill best thing for Moyes

"Tim has probably been the best thing that has happened at Everton,? said Moyes. ?For the way he has conducted himself, how much he has helped me and how much he has helped Everton.

"He is massive because of his attitude and energy. He is a big part of the whole team ethos here, he really is. He beats the drum and he keeps everybody at it.

"He has a great record of scoring goals when it matters, important goals and that won't change."

Except that it has changed... from the 10 goals he scored last year before absconding with Australia last January. He las not scored for Everton soince, des[ite being favoured by Moyes as Everton's only 'striker'.

Tomorrow is the day for that record to change...
