Moyes has best price-per-point ratio

The 415 points Everton have picked up in the Premier League since 2004 under David Moyes have cost the club just £48,192 according to a new study that seeks to find the best value-for-money manager in the top flight.

By contrast, Liverpool manager, Kenny Dalglish is running at £7.5m per point gained based on his enormous expenditure since taking over at Anfield a year ago.

The findings highlight both the paucity of Moyes's transfer kitty but also his success in milking everything from a routinely small squad and a number of low-budget and loan acquisitions that has resulted in regular finishes in the top eight.
