Under-18s draw with Liverpool

Chris Long came to Everton's rescue, firing home in injury time to deny Liverpool two of their three points after the reds had scored earlier from the penalty spot.

In other Academy news, new signing George Green, who had been playing for Bradford City reserves, scored the first goal on his debut for Everton Under-16s in their micro-mini derby against Liverpool, with the Blues going on to win 4-2.
