Bids were made for Doyle

David Moyes apparently had two bids knocked back by Wolves for Kevin Doyle. The move was revealed by Doyle's team-mate Stephen Ward who said he was pleased his team mate had decided to stay with Wolves.

"I was delighted for him. It has been tough for Doyler but he is the ultimate professional," Ward said.

"When a club like Everton, who are safe in the division and a big club come in you would be surprised if it didn't affect him but the bid changed nothing."
