Everton complete Júnior signing

Everton have sealed the capture of midfield prospect Francisco Júnior after the 20-year-old put pen to paper on a 4½-year deal which is subject to international clearance.

The Guinea-Bissau-born player began his career with Benfica in Portugal but has spent the last year in Manchester City's training and development programme.

Capped twice by Portugal U21s, Junior was out of contract and therefore eligible to make the switch to Goodison outside of the transfer window.
