Forshaw on the mend after jaw break

Everton winger Adam Forshaw had to have surgery to fix a broken jaw sustained during Brentford's 2-0 win over Rochdale yesterday.

The 20-year-old is on loan with the Bees until May and he tweeted that he is hopeful of playing again before the season is over but he will have to see how quickly he heals:

Operation went well, plates are in an am on the mend. Fingers crossed I might sneak a game in before the end of the season.
