Jelavic named Player of the Month

Everton's Nikica Jelavic has picked up the Barclays Player of the Month award for April for his blast of goals that has kept the Blues in Champions League-qualifying form since the turn of the year.

The Croatian scored six goals in just three League appearances, including, of course, that brace at Old Trafford in a memorable 4-4 draw, and in so doing became the fastest Everton player to reach double figures.

The 26-year-old only signed on 31st January but is the Club's leading goalscorer for the season with those 10 goals.
