Everton appeal Cahill red card

Everton have lodged an appeal with the FA to have Tim Cahill's straight red card from yesterday's win over Newcastle overturned.

Cahill was dismissed after the final whistle following an altercation with Yohan Cabaye and is set to miss the first three games of next season if the authorities don't show leniency.
