Baines and Jagielka sit this one out

Phil Jagielka and Leighton Baines were unused substitutes as England kicked off their Euro 2012 campaign with a 1-1 draw against France.

Former Everton defender Joelon Lescott headed home a free-kick to give England the lead on the half-hour mark but they could not hold on to the lead and it became a question of survival in the second half, with no further attempts on goal as they clung tenaciously to a hard-earned point against a much better French side.
