Everton are ready to follow up their interest in defensive prospect Jack Hendry this week by signing the 20-year-old from Partick Thistle. 0 Comment Club scouts have been tracking the centre half since being alerted to his potential last year and he would have spent time on trial at Finch Farm this summer were it not for a suspension for Partick's Frederick Frans which necessitated Hendry stepping into first team action.
Hendry, who was linked with a move to Goodison Park earlier in the current transfer window, has made just three senior appearances for the Scottish club but the Scottish Daily Mail claim Everton representatives will watch him once more this week before lodging a firm bid.
