Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall has promised there's so much more to come after an impressive first season at Everton.

Dewsbury-Hall signed for Everton from Chelsea last summer for a fee of £25M and scored eight goals in the Premier League last season, adding four assists.

Only four midfielders in the Premier League scored more non-penalty goals than Dewsbury-Hall in 2025-26.

The midfielder's move followed a frustrating single-season spell at Chelsea, where he played only 259 minutes of Premier League football.

Dewsbury-Hall signed for Chelsea in a reunion with former Leicester manager Enzo Maresca, but was unable to show the form that saw him shine during the Foxes' 2023-24 promotion-winning campaign.

Reflecting on his first season at Everton, Dewsbury-Hall said his confidence has returned after feeling 'appreciated' at Hill Dickinson Stadium.

"It was quite an easy decision in the end, which is funny to say, but it was," he said on the move from Chelsea.

"I'm so happy because, this last year, it's got me back to where I was. I'm confident again and feel appreciated, which I'm so thankful for. There's so much more to come."

A big player for us this season. 10 goals at least from him would be a great return.

Dewsbury-Hall and Pickford are our two most important players.

You know you are going to get a consistent performance from Dewsbury-Hall each game, eight goals from midfield is pretty good.

Looking forward to have him for another full season!

There's something about the way he plays that's just not quite right.

I'm probably being overly critical but he has to be one of our most important players and so what he does with the ball when he gets it to his feet is critical to whether things come off or they don't.

And sadly, far too much for my liking, they just don't come off.

For me, he faded as the season went on.

Perhaps because he was playing further forward than he's comfortable... but he needs to reignite something from Day 1 this season.

He faded towards the end of the season, probably because the manager was flogging him and others into the ground.

Alcaraz and George coming on in the final minutes trying to save a game rather than after 65 minutes to win games. Other managers use subs more... not sure why Moyes doesn't.

Dewsbury-Hall is a tidy footballer -- is he a 10? I would like to see him play deeper. Moyes plays 4-4-1-1 tactics, like Dyche before him. If the 10 has a quiet game, we struggle in the game.

Our key player, the one who can link it all up.

I think with Hackney, Armstrong & Garner who all are good on the ball and have the passes in them, he can do even better this season.

I think he's a leader too, sets a good example with his workrate. I think he will go deeper in midfield but not this season.

“I'm confident again and feel appreciated” -- enough said.

He was off for the last bit of last season, just like everyone else.

Before that, he was instrumental. A very good signing and a good lad.

Great player, an absolutely fantastic signing and has got goals in him, and by all accounts a great lad.

Key player for us and I don't know one Evertonian who has got a bad word to say about him.

Well said andy #10. I think the guy your looking for is hard to please Michael #4.

I'm still waiting for Dewsbury-Hall to play consistently well. He started the season, for me, without really impressing, then he had a very good spell of 7or 8 games and I thought that he had settled in.

He got injured and when he came back he had some decent games but a lot of poor or indifferent games. I never saw anything really special or outstanding about him.

I knew nothing about him really when we signed him except he never got a good run at Chelsea and I honestly don't remember him when he played for Leicester City.

Now he feels confident and appreciated, it might make him a consistently good performer — I hope so for himself and Everton FC.

I feel the injury to Grealish had a major influence on KDH's over all consistency. They were working so well together. Ndiaye's drop off, after the African cup also. Keeping these aspects in mind, I'd question the 2 strikers' positional skill and basic ball control when receiving a pass. i.e. "do I dare pass to them or take the play to others?"
