The Martinez signing Stanek has obviously been promoted. 6'-4" and still growing.

A first visit to The Rock. In a commanding team display Ledson, Grant and Dowell impressed in midfield but all the players showed composure when in possession. The main criticism would be the concession of too many soft free kicks in our own half during the early part of the game. Otherwise quite promising.

Biggest thing for me to come from this report is that Ryan Ledson was playing Heard yesterday on ToffeeWeb that he’d had a bad injury to his Achilles.

Sooooo happy that’s not true as I’m looking forward to see Roberto push him on.

Miraculous recovery from Ledson's Achilles rupture then.
