Everton have been drawn away to Doncaster Rovers in the 2nd Round of this season's Carabao Cup.

The full draw, which took place on Sky after Leicester City beat Burton Town in their 1st Round tie, is as follows:

The game at Doncaster will take place on Wednesday, 30 August with an 8 pm kick-off, and has been selected for broadcast by Sky Sports.

We played Doncaster in the FA Cup in 1985 at Goodison, can't remember playing at their place, during my time of watching. We've only met them eight times in total, and only three at their home.

We've yet to beat them on their ground, having lost twice and drawn once in Division Two. In the first meeting between the sides at Goodison in 1939, Everton romped to an 8-0 win in the FA Cup

I ticked the Keepmoat off a few years ago. Saw them lose 0-3 to Walsall. Compact stadium, we should get an allocation of at least 3,000.

We also hammered them 7-1 in the old Division 2 in September 1952. The Snodin brothers played in that game in 1985. Ian later went on to manage them for a brief period.

I've been to the old Belle Vue ground, but not the Keepmoat Stadium.

I was at that last match against Doncaster in the FA Cup 4th round in '85 (plus the Telford and Ipswich games).

I saw the Leeds game the other week on YouTube and if I'm not mistaken it was the ensemble XI with Inchy being injured he was interviewed on the TV about the game. Here's hoping for another run to Wembley.

I was at Doncaster in the season we were promoted, 2-0 down with about 10 minutes to go, we pulled it back to 2-2. I'm not sure of the scorers, I think Dave Hickson got one of the goals.

70 bleedin' years ago, doesn't time fly when you're having fun? Not with Everton, I'm afraid!!

I posted on here a while ago: we will be scrapping round for cast-offs and leftovers on deadline day, and I stand by that.

Will be in Doncaster that week, so will be either sat in the away end, home end, or a pub close to the stadium, watching on sky.
