Everton U18s 2 - 0 Fleetwood Town U21s
An Everton U18 side take on Fleetwood Town's U21s in the opening round of the Lancashire Senior Cup, kicking off at 12 noon.
The match was goalless until the last 20 minutes when a fine strike by Callum Bates put the young Blues ahead. Joel Catesby then sealed the victory after a determined run saw him carry the ball from deep inside the Fleetwood half all the way into the penalty area before firing a low effort into the bottom corner.

Gatesby's was impressive. Drive and forward running intent. And when it looked like the ball had run away, he goes in committed to win it back and slot it home. Pure desire.
