Pretty good opening goal for Forest, Elagna running 85 m from his own half and slotting it in.

And Forest hold on despite a Man Utd onslaught.

Food for thought.
Forest have been a better run club than Everton, this season is a clear indicator of what can happen with the correct managerial choice, the correct players being signed when money is available.
Remember when we all (myself included) turned our noses up at the prospect of bringing Anthony Elanga in?
He's proven me very very wrong.
Most of us were also very underwhelmed at the prospect of Nuno getting the gig to replace Carlo in the summer of 2021, again a monumental error of judgement on behalf of all.
I tell you what, I bet Spurs fans are going a bit mental though too, sacked Nuno after what was it, 3 months?

It depends Jim. I wish Forest well, it's been a great journey to the depths of 3rd tier football and back. Good luck to them.
But it remains to be seen if they establish themselves or do a Leicester.

As with every season there is always a surprise package and Forest have been amazing.
However kudos must also go to Brighton, Bournemouth and Brentford for building sides with apparent unknowns and some rejects to become very competitive opponents to all teams in the Prem.
Here's hoping that Everton finally shake off the gloom of many past seasons and become one of those formidable teams once again.

We have to remember that Forest spent an absolute fortune on players and only received a 4-point deduction despite being significantly over the PSR by much more than us which in their case did give them a competitive advantage.
Buying so many players at once meant they needed time and a good manager to blend them and the timing was good for Nuno.
Everton by contrast have a lot of players going out of contract and a small squad in the light of having to sell to please the lord and Masters.
Personally speaking I don't think Nuno would have had the impact that Moyes has had.

VAR denies goals for both Chelsea and Spurs.
Probably the correct decisions... but they both took an age. And in old money, would have evened out.

Same last night, Michael. It took 4 minutes to make a decision.
I'll keep saying it. Rugby gets it right and is transparent. Football officials are about as decisive as an Italian general.

This game between Chelsea and Spurs is an example of the decline in English Football, especially from corner kicks. It just needs a referee to give a penalty kick for the grabbing and holding instead of ignoring it unless a player is pulled to the ground.
It is not getting any better, it is getting worse, and will not improve until the refs punish a definite infringement of the laws of the game. They don't need to watch a video to see what's in front of them
