The race for Champions League is tight and difficult to call.

I think Forest are out of it now on 62, but they've surpassed expectations this season and will be playing European football next season.

Why should they be rewarded with a Champion's League place? Win the Europa League, but that is reward enough.

I don't understand the format any more, but it was a bit like when teams knocked out of the Champion's League got put into the later stages of the Europa League. Reward for failure.

Then again, you're talking to someone who disagrees with the entire concept of the Champion's League. The name is false as most of the teams participating aren't champions of their respective nations.

Forest and Chelsea play each other, If Chelsea win, they finish on 69, Forest on 65. If they draw, Chelsea finish on 67, Forest on 66, but Newcastle have the better goal difference.

Villa are away to United, so anything could happen there. If they win, 69. Draw and it's 67.

It's all to close to call. After that brain hurting analysis, I would say that even if we beat Newcastle, they have probably done enough.

we just need to do our job on Sunday, and hope that the other teams get across the line. It would be hilarious if we helped them secure europa footy for next year. Would end the season on a real high.

Although we were 1 point above relegation when Moyes came in, I never thought we'd go down. The bottom three were dreadful.

Even as a professed 'Dyche hater' I couldn't see our owners making a change. There was a mini league there that we were bottom of and, even with a change, I couldn't see the financial return for a managerial change.

My justification for a change was that Everton were losing their connection with fans and were about to see off the Old Lady with a negative whimper.

Obviously Dyche then practically made their decision for them by declaring he was done.

Moyes has come in and won that mini league and justified the change in both financial and performance terms. And of course the last few months had some good moments, comfortable safety, a reconnection with the fans, and a more fitting send off than we might have otherwise anticipated.
