Forest have just gone up in my estimation then, Ian.
I hope Carra the spitter is next to be banned. I can't stand the man. He's everywhere these days. Gobshite.

Why so, Colin? I think Neville was right.
The Greek fella was out of order ranting at the manager on the pitch after the game.

Let's get it out there. First time since 88/89 season we won the last 3 games of the season.
Thank you Everton.

Check out the background when Ian Wright is praising Gary Lineker.

Grant, the game you are thinking about never happened.
The one I do remember was arriving to stay with friends on 26th May and turning on the TV as they were back later and let us have the key. Arsenal were 1-0 up at the hole across the park with 10 mins to go. I said to my better half "Ooh, this could get interesting. Another Arsenal goal and they will win the League. If they don't, or Liverpool do, then that lot will do the double".
A couple of minutes later, Michael Thomas bursts through and makes it 2-0. YES!
The friends had no interest in football and were still not home so did not witness me doing laps of honour around their living room.

Phil, once again you back it up with fact. I can't compete, I just go off vague memories and recollection.
You mentioned Sheedy, so I naturally offer you respect for the second time this morning!!
Ian Wilson. Don't take me there. We had just won our 9th league title and if I recall, he was our only signing that summer unless someone corrects me. An honest player, but underwhelming is an understatement.
He did win a Full Members Cup runner up medal though!!

I know this is 3 mails on the bounce (bit like our victories at the end of the season) but this year, the league was lost not won.
The champions finished with just 2 more points than they got last season. City were 20 points worse and Arsenal 15. It was their implosion that decided the title, not an improvement by the champions. United (Covid season), Arsenal (Leicester's title season), Chelsea (2010/11), Arsenal (2000/1) are the only times in the last 25 years that the runners-up have less points than this year.
Gifted it they were.
