Ian Bennett 2 Posted 18/10/2025 at 14:53:08 I thought he'd bought quite well, brought in good back ground people, and had a club going forward. But the owner is a complete nut job. Danny O'Neill 3 Posted 19/10/2025 at 10:43:44 If I was Ange, I'd have refused to take to the dugout. He'll have been told beforehand. Tony Abrahams 4 Posted 19/10/2025 at 11:18:43 Ive just watched a video of the chairman standing in the tunnel embracing the players and I questioned that it must have surely been made by AI.I was told it wasnt, (something I still find hard to believe) so my conclusion is that it would only be possible to work for that chairman, if everything was going along swimmingly. John Williams 5 Posted 19/10/2025 at 11:20:29 The only thing hurting Ange, is his pride. His bank manager will be happy.Did Ange get the job because of his Greek background ?The owner is a hire and fire merchant, the last manager did a very good job. There will be a host of managers sending in CVs, they know the risks, but they also know that they will be richer down the line and hopefully another job, several months later. Jim Bennings 6 Posted 19/10/2025 at 15:44:28 Spurs getting rolled over here today, we know who they play next week Gerry Quinn 7 Posted 19/10/2025 at 15:53:57 Another EVERTON "win" - our Tommy Fleetwood won the DP World Tour India Championship today - a special moment as his 8-year old son was able to run onto the 18th when he won - the first time ever, and one he has been waiting a long time for - well done, Tommy - and in a blue shirt too Jack Convery 8 Posted 19/10/2025 at 16:02:21 Makes our Nil Nil with Villa look good, that Spurs result. It would be us next for Spurs. Everton That !We're 11th now. Michael Kenrick 9 Posted 19/10/2025 at 16:34:28 Might be dropping even further...Nice goal by Mbuemo in the first minute after showing Van Dijk a clean pair of heels!Liverpool 0 - 1 Man Utd Jack Convery 10 Posted 19/10/2025 at 16:38:19 Warnock - play should have been stopped. There is always a reason, why the RS concede. Earlier today Warnock claimed, grief could be a cause for the RS slump. Funny it wasn't when they were winning all the early games in the season. Jack Convery 11 Posted 19/10/2025 at 16:44:38 Just read this from Hackett, on Silva "handball" yesterday. There is no doubt in my mind that the player had his arm in a position to make his body larger with the view of stopping the ball.“It is a decision that should have seen VAR intervention, and the referee invited to review at the pitch-side monitor. It should have seen the award of a penalty kick.“Everton again on the wrong end of a decision."It was a penalty v Leeds!!!! Ask Tarkowski. Ian Bennett 12 Posted 19/10/2025 at 16:52:31 I'd be interested in the distance in penalty decisions, Aamad Diallo vs Dewsbury-Hall. Andrew Ellams 13 Posted 19/10/2025 at 17:30:50 Social media is full of our loveable neighbours who apparently knew all of the summer signings were garbage. Gerry Quinn 14 Posted 19/10/2025 at 18:10:29 Bollocks - the Red Shite have scored. Jack Convery 15 Posted 19/10/2025 at 18:10:42 Jammy RS! The ball hit his foot and went in. You can't make it up. He was about to be subbed too!!Man Utd will be lucky to get the draw now. Jack Convery 16 Posted 19/10/2025 at 18:14:22 Lurch has scored!!! Gerry Quinn 17 Posted 19/10/2025 at 18:23:41 C'mon United - no probs with you going above us - FOR NOW :) Edward Rogers 18 Posted 19/10/2025 at 18:23:53 Just the 8 additional minutes then!! Jack Convery 19 Posted 19/10/2025 at 18:34:11 Oh dear, how sad, never mind. Man Utd deserved that.Do you see, Moyesiah, it is possible. Worst Man Utd side in living memory. Dave Abrahams 20 Posted 19/10/2025 at 18:40:50 That was a real team effort all over the field by every player and a really very good goalkeeper and another questionable performance by referee Oliver.Takes a bit of the disappointment of yesterday away — even Mike Gaynes will be smiling at that result. Gerry Quinn 21 Posted 19/10/2025 at 18:43:15 YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS - anybody but THEM...well done Utd, even though I can't stand you either Phil Roberts 22 Posted 19/10/2025 at 18:49:57 Is this Martinez Mark II.Takes over a decent team (okay, you may argue), fantastic first season and everybody thinks we have a genius, and second season all goes to pot.#Please let it be. Jim Bennings 23 Posted 19/10/2025 at 18:56:41 The league is in Arsenal or City's grasp this season that's for sure, Liverpool look vulnerable as they have done all season, I said as much when we went there and didn't show enough bottle as usual. Billy Shears 24 Posted 19/10/2025 at 19:31:27 It's simply amazing to watch a team giving them a real game and showing them fuckers no respect at Mordor. Please, Moyes, take note. Brendan McLaughlin 25 Posted 19/10/2025 at 19:35:58 Jack #15Man Utd will be lucky to get the draw nowJack #19Do you see, Moyesiah, it is possible. Kevin Naylor 26 Posted 19/10/2025 at 19:37:41 How many games do we come away from saying "With a bit more effort, belief, conviction, we could have won that"? Moyes, for all his good points, lacks that self-belief that he can beat the top sides and that filters down to the players, I'm sure. As someone said, the worst Man Utd side for many a year goes there and beats them because they weren't in awe of them. Tony Abrahams 27 Posted 19/10/2025 at 19:51:13 Be careful with having this type of opinion when you talk about David Moyes. He hasn't got the players to have that kind of belief and he told everyone before the last game at Anfield hat he didn't really enjoy derby games.Contrast that with Big Joe Royle who never had the best team but he definitely knew how to get under the skin of our loveable neighbours. If you want to get under their skin, then run, tackle, fight, don't back down by paying them too much respect. Who knows... this just might make the fixture a lot more enjoyable for Evertonians! Colin Glassar 28 Posted 19/10/2025 at 19:52:36 Phil 22, my thoughts entirely. He also had the luck with Arsenal losing so many key players around Christmas and falling away.I know one rs who wants Klopp to take over. Fickle? Derek Thomas 29 Posted 19/10/2025 at 22:01:54 Why is my Australian Monday morning looking even brighter right now? Brendan McLaughlin 30 Posted 20/10/2025 at 22:10:04 Not much of a "new manager bounce" for Nuno. Phil Roberts 31 Posted 20/10/2025 at 23:43:17 How appropriate.Anfield is in L4 Mike Connolly 32 Posted 21/10/2025 at 00:36:33 spot on with that Dave but 60 odd years for me Dave Abrahams 33 Posted 21/10/2025 at 10:31:56 I only saw bits and pieces of the West Ham v Brentford game but the difference in how Brentford used their corners and free kicks was in a stark contrast to the way Everton use them. It's the same corner kicks every time by Everton although even now they are one of the main ways of scoring. The throw-ins are diabolical because we waste them more times than not and the chief reason is the lack of movement each time. Watch O'Brien getting frustrated and running out of time to take them because of it.What are the coaching team and manager doing to change these styles of play? And free-kicks — that's why the last dead ball coach was brought in — who has replaced him?
