Everton U21s loan forward Francis Okoronkwo is finally off the mark with Lincoln City after scoring against Barnsley in the Vertu EFL Trophy on Tuesday.

Although he's been involved in most games for Lincoln City since completing his loan move back in August, Okoronkwo has started only one game in League One, being used 8 times as a substitute off the bench.

The only full game he has completed for the Imps was in a previous Vertu EFL Trophy game against Notts County in early September.

Considering Everton paid Sunderland £1M for the highly rated youngster as a 17-year-old 4 years ago, his progression so far can best be described as disappointing.

Michael O/ P Yes Michael I think Sherif is the better bet out of the two of them but doubt he will be a future premier league player.

ToffeeWeb is slowly getting back to the way you and a lot of us want it to be— thanks for all your efforts in the past and particularly in the last traumatic few days—- I’ve been to see my doctor over panic attacks, he diagnosed these panic attacks is because Paul Ferry has come back on here!
