Carlo Ancelotti's Brazil beat Senegal 2 - 0 in an International friendly match played at the Emirates Stadium in London on Saturday.

Iliman Ndiaye and Idrissa Gana Gueye were on the losing side, while former Everton star Richarlison stayed on the bench for Brazil.

Ndiaye had a great chance to get a goal back for Senegal, but he missed a sitter, his scuffed shot bouncing out for a goal kick after hitting the post.

Ah… Carlo building toward his greatest triumph yet — after taking Everton to the top of the Premier League, that is.

Almost enough to make you want to join in the Great FIFA World Cup Ticket Lottery…

Sounds like a bit of a gamble to me.

MK, I already have a bunch of tickets for Kansas City and Toronto. Visa cards help. I think that the third sale is next month after the draw when I will find that my big ticket out of five is for Jordan v Cape Verde.

48 teams. Pure bollocks. But fitting that a big part of this profit/commercial shit-fest will be in 'merica.

Last time it was in Yankeeland, I thought I should take the opportunity to watch at least one game, and Brazil seemed a good bet for getting to the quarterfinals, so I bought a ticket for Palo Alto on that basis... hardly expecting that the USA would be their opponents.

Flew down from Seattle to San Jose(?), train out to the Stanford Stadium, 84,147 — all very civilised until Romario ruined the day for them. But I went home happy.

Paul

My nightmare is that in Kansas City we end up hosting Switzerland, Jordan, Curacao and Cape Verde.

And for those who might wish to watch Scotland, you can almost guarantee they will be placed in the biggest 'Group of Death' ever.

Derek, that was a great win for Scotland and it's so good to see them going through to the World Cup. Hopefully no group of death this time.

From what I have been told, my blood line started in Normandy, France and then followed the Whiskey road through England, Scotland then Ireland. So, a bit of a mongrel, I follow England, Ireland, Scotland and France. Oh, and I have a son born in Wales!

Bit of a mix, eh? Now Australian, also USA. Shit. Surely I have the chance to have a winning side somewhere along this way. Mind you, I do like a single malt.
