Everton have had an offer for Harry Wilson turned down by Fulham who are hesitant to let him leave this winter.
“It is understood the Toffees made an approach for the 28-year-old last week, but it was turned down by the Cottagers,” reports Sami Mokbel of the BBC.
Even though the Welsh international is out of contract this summer and could leave for free, the London-based side are keen on holding on to him. Head coach Marco Silva also said there is "zero chance" of Wilson being sold in the January transfer window.
Instead, they are trying to extend his future at the club with attempted negotiations, even though talks are on hold because of transfer interest.
Wilson has made 173 appearances for Fulham, scoring 34 goals and registering 43 assists.

Would fit in with Garner, Dewesbury-Hall type of player, rather than the agricultural signings of time gone by.
Can play across the midfield and out wide.

He's a fine footballer and the type of player we should be bringing in. Roll on the summer.

I believe his roots are from the Wrexham area and I he would be keen on joining us if he wants to move back up north, I mean which other club is like Everton, plus the new stadium, whats not too like ?.
Another talented lad is Damsgaard from Brentford, a very clever midfield player although we seem fairly well covered in that area currently.
