We're seeing a problem with ToffeeWeb pages that are not loading correctly on iPhones and iPads. Sorry about this. We are looking into the issue.

Pages are not formatted correctly when they load. The text runs off the right side of the screen. Comments are presented in a flat format that makes them hard to read.

If you are seeing problems like this on any other devices, please let us know.

However, we note that on iPhones and iPads, the pages may rectify themselves after a few minutes. We know this is not acceptable and we apologise for this poor performance.

Update: As of Wednesday, 4 March, I think this problem has now been resolved.

Also the same page layout problems that others have reported but all problems seem to have settled down now.

If lots of different people in different places on different devices have the same problem, something at TW Towers has changed.

It didn't change its self, whoever touched something, put it back how it was please.

Derek, perhaps a difference is that this new bunch farm out 'tech' stuff whereas Lyndon took care of things in Merrie Old ToffeeWeb. This tech 'team' after months has failed to take care of the edit button - surely not rocket science - or that fecking annoying apostrophe thing on the LF, despite by now surely well over 100 complaints.

MK is doing the best hecan but if this fucking shockingly unacceptable performance of this tech 'team' is anything to go by we are way down the list of priorities. This phone/IPad issue is way more serious. Let's see what happens.

Want to add anything Mr Roy?

It's gone to shit on a Windows laptop too.

Even worse actually as I can see all the betting ads that I can bypass on a 'phone.

Hope I'm not speaking to soon, but in the last hour or so it looks like the site is back to normal.

Are things now working okay for all of you?

Paul (16)

Yes, my iPad is working very well, although full stops and commas appear from nowhere and I have to stop and obliterate them from every sentence, maybe my finger is doing the damage, not sure!

I've not seen any issues on my Windows Laptop, Eric.

And it looks like the original iOS problem has been resolved, at least on individual News stories and comment threads.

The issue I had Michal was that the Articles / News features where squashed and truncated and maybe 1/3 of the right side of the page was betting ads.

Maybe that is normal? First time I've looked at the website in a laptop in a while.

Yes Paul #16, back to the new normal again with the edit button not working again.

Hopefully the tech experts will beta test their improvements next time before unleashing chaos.

I think the News Archive looks a bit odd like that, and the text is not wrapping at the edge of the screen.

Although I'm only seeing the betting stuff on the homepage -- never on Articles or News Stories.

Very strange that the Edit Button worked for you. I can't see any kind of link come up when I hover over it.

As said above. Samsungs as-well.
