Richarlison, Spurs' best player by a mile.

Did Solanke even touch the ball?

Jesus those last 6 or 7 minutes were agony waiting for the final whistle and the young Spurs players didn't know how to waste time, don't they learn anything at these academies?

Still worth the wait and Richarlison giving the Kop a long lovely smile after he scored the goal. Slot looking anxiously and nervous waiting for his comics and P 45. I hope they keep him on.

If we play against Liverpool the same way as the first half yesterday, we will beat them.

Bring Richarlison back!

He would fit in perfectly with the squad we have.

We sold Richarlison for less than we paid for Barry and Beto.

The lad will save Spurs.

Ian,

Richarlison is that big game player and someone who never quits. The only such player Spurs have.

Romero has character but in the Big Dunc way, eg, when chips are down, he gets himself sent off.

Second to everything Spurs until second half when they realised Liverpool are vulnerable. Then they started to compete.

They are all over the place when attacked in numbers, Liverpool.

Roma drop out of a CL position, blowing one at Como.

Still waiting for an explanation from somebody wise on what happens if we and Roma both qualify for the Europa League.

Mike,

I assume as with Palace the owners will decide who gets priority. I honestly don't see it happening.

Me neither, Kieran.

But then I didn't expect that win at Newcastle.

Arsenal are top and were very lucky to get a victory over 8th-placed Everton. Man City are second, they drew against the team 3rd from bottom. Liverpool had a chance to get into the top 4, and drew at home to a team that have been spiralling towards the bottom of the Premier League.

The Premier League isn't very good. English teams haven't been as successful in the major European competitions for a few seasons either, which gives me a feeling that a team could come from nowhere, in a similar way that Leicester City did a few years ago.

Far-fetched? Maybe, but has anyone been really impressed with the overall standards of the Premier League during the last couple of seasons?

All are obsessed (or the majority are) with possession football, Tony, pass for the sake of passing. Mostly square and backwards.

Anyone can beat anyone. The key is having the confidence to try to have a good go. We have shown that on a good few occasions away from home that we are capable.

I'm not having the "Look at the squad we have" shouts.

Definitely not, John. Look at McNeil, not top quality but still a good player on his day (not for everyone, I know) and yet the minute Grealish came in, he was banished.

Patterson is shite. I don't think we have lost with him in the team (I might be wrong). Alcaraz doesn't do enough (he doesn't play enough) and as for George, my own view is that getting put on for the final 90 seconds would definitely have a negative effect on a player who is on loan!

I can imagine the kid would be fuming, and thinking to himself, "Why did the manager put me on?" Because it would have definitely felt like a piss take to most footballers, getting put on that late, unless the manager was helping you out and getting you a win bonus.

Anyone can beat anyone. I can't recall ever seeing so many close games between the teams at the top and the teams at the bottom before.

What Richarlison proved yesterday is that he is still good enough for the top level.

For a sensible fee, I'd take him.

So not Premier related but seems our 2 Senegalese stars will have to hand back their winner's medals.

AFCON now having determined their walk off constituted a forfeiture of the match. Morocco has now been declared 3-0 winners

I wonder what happens if somebody put a bet on Morocco winning 3-0 would the bookies now have to pay out. Mind doubt many would have kept their betting slips for 3 months.
