Always sad to see these lads let go. Dreams get shattered.

Hopefully they can find hope elsewhere and fulfill their dream

Good luck to them all. May they make a career somewhere else.

Best thing that could happen to them.

Now go and have a successful career.

Poor old Roman Dixon, he made the mistake of playing well in his first league start while Tarkowski, Keane and Mykolenko stank the gaffe out.

Cardinal sin that was. Hence he was never seen again.

Cant believe we have not kept Dixon. He is only 22 in December and typical Moyes, he never played him but preferred an Irish International central defender.

Mind you he will always be able to claim to be the best player Everton's history to wear the Number 75 shirt.

Yes, you are right Steve. Dyche has a lot to answer for because he froze him out for the next 18 months until he was sacked. Mind you Dave Challinor, the Stockport County manager also didn't help by only playing him 7 times in around 20 matches in League 1 and you would have thought that if he deserved a place in a Premier League team then he should have been an automatic starter in League 1.

Might be interesting to know how many juniors let go in the last 3 seasons are still in the Football League or playing professionally. Good luck to them all.

Roman Dixon also had long-term injury problems. Ankle I believe. Twice.

I hope Dixon can get a club.

I saw him play against Sligo Rovers, nothing against the opposition, but he looked so promising, and against Spurs in his only Premier League start, he was our best player.

@5 Phil - maybe they all thought he wasn’t good enough?

If he is - he will prove them all wrong
