Letter to Premier league

Comments (24)

I have sent the following letter to the Premier league and the referees association:

I was angered to read Blackburn manager Sam Allardyce falsely accusing Everton player Tim Cahill of ?getting away with murder? ahead of their Premier League meeting. Is it too much to expect a professional referee to ignore comments such as this and referee a game based only on events as they happen and without prejudice and pre-conceived ideas? Unfortunately we have at least two examples which prove that Mr Wiley doesn?t have a mind of his own.

The first one I noticed was when Everton had a corner and Mr Wiley seemed to be warning Cahill about something when he was waiting, unmarked for the ball to come in. The second was in the second half when an extremely hefty challenge from behind by Samba on Cahill resulted in a Blackburn free kick.

The TV showed that Allardyce found this highly amusing and if you look at the clip I am referring to you would know that he and those around him were laughing that the mind games had worked.

I find this behaviour from certain managers disappointing to say the least but when our referees fall for these tactics, it makes me despair, especially when there is a so called ?respect? campaign. Fans want referees to be someone that they can respect but Alan Wiley's behaviour means that goal is even further away.

Well said, unfortunately it will probably be filed in the bin. For mind games read cheating. When a manager says anything out of turn in the heat of the moment after a game they get fined. Cold and calculated comments before game go unpunished. Like all things football nothing makes sense. A raised foot in the centre circle is deemed a foul but on the goal line it is a brilliant clearance. It should actually be a sending off because it has denied a goalscoring opportunity. As I said, football's rules are not logical.

Get on the one I sent:

Dear greedy, stuffy shower of shite,

The way you have whored this game out and pandered to money since the Premier League's inception sickens me. You are a bunch of know nothing cunts masquerading as a governing body while bleeding the sport of as much money as you can you gang of impotent twats.

Your laws and officials are squeezing the life out of the game and in more than one case have never watched or played a game of football in thier life. You have encouraged diving, theatrics & cheating from the continent and pandered to their way of life. You are all scum, nothing more than scum.

The sooner you all shrivel up & die the better, I hope the game implodes and gets back to grass roots and more simpler times when you didn't need to have a foreign tycoon and a £600 million debt to be able to challenge.

Fuck you, eat shit and in case I forgot.... fuck you.

Andy
I have done it before.

Expect a reply back that says "every referee?s performance is monitored and discussed with him to see if improvements can be made blah blah blah".

Never mind the thump in the back what about the 2 potential penalties and wasn't it Wiley who disallowed a perfectly good goal at Blackburn last year and then gave us an incorrect offside disallowed goal.

Let?s all have a wry smile come the end of May when Blackburn go down and Fat Sam is sacked, never to be seen in management again.

Andy, This is the same Mr Wiley who some seasons ago warned the fourth official to keep his eye on a certain Duncan Ferguson, during a game at Arsenal. The referee?s talk to each other, so certain players must get mentioned at the get-togethers.

Over the seasons we have had our fair share of poor decisions, by the men in black, I just hope that the man in the middle on Sunday lets the game flow, and just get on with it.

NO press headlines for all the wrong reasons.

I thought that shot of his smug ugly face at that time was truly horrible ? it really got my back up... I am surprised nothing made of it in the national press ? actually no I?m not which is even more annoying. What really did it for me was not the "mind games" (stupid fucking phrase that is), though that was obviously bad enough, but also the fact that TC was obviously hurt ? and no one knew how badly ? and yet the fat twat was smiling. Joking about a possibly injured player like that is a complete fucking disgrace.

hopefully it wont affect Tim like Wengers comments regarding Johnson constantly diving.

AJ was never the same player after that.

On another note I see how Lawrensen has us not winning on Sunday again.

Typical shite!!

Tim Cahill has masses more talent, integrity, mental strength, intelligence, humanity ... I could go on ... than that bag of lard Allalard.

He can take care of himself.

Wiley is a known cunt who has serious form when it comes to treating Everton badly. All we need is fairness. Allardyce is a pillock with a vastly over-inflated regard for himself. Together, I’m not surprised at what happened.

Anyone notice Davey Moyes's comments about Liverpool getting away with things in derbies? This is managers' mindgames, and where do you draw the line? Tim should be quite pleased that Big Sam felt the need to single him out... and the fact he doesn?t give many fouls away would suggest it was just that... mindgames.

Without doubt one manager moans and the word goes out amongst the idiots we call referees. This season has been abysmal for clangers. Seems to me they are getting worse despite all the electronics and so called better communication with linesmen. Beats me how all 3 officials can miss some things which are so patently obvious at times. Regarding Allardyce, he should complain after all the years he watched Kevin Davies at Bolton commit so many fouls. Didn?t complain then did he?

Unfortunately, the referees we have are lacking in character, are easily influenced & are in awe of the "big" clubs & their star players. Oh yeh, they?re not very good either!

I don?t have a problem with Allardyce playing his stupid mind-games before the game (if anything that?s a compliment for Cahill anyway) but

a). Regardless of whether he should say that or not the ref should still professionally ref the game as though Allardyce had said nothing. Well, so much for that, eh?

b). Allardyce?s reaction to Tim getting injured was outrageous! All the more so because the commentators thought it all funny too.

It?s very easy to be paranoid being an Everton supporter but with pricks like that ref and Allardyce around I am fucking paranoid!!

Just a quick note too....how on earth could that foul on Cahill be awarded against him? It just staggers the mind sometimes at some of the decisions.

At least with the way things are going we are going to make it easy for the refs when we trot out our one remaining fit player against a team of 11.

COYB!! (What?s left!)

I have just read David Moyes's supposed defence of Tim Cahill and what a weak-kneed pissant apologetic load of tripe it is.

Dignity is all well and good, Davey, but there are times when you have to roll up your sleeves, get down in the gutter and start trading shit for shit.

After Wenger and now Allardyce?s despicable yet very successful referee snow job, who is the next Everton player to be targeted?

Moyes's piss-poor response would encourage other managers to try it on.

Sad to say, but I?ve come to expect this type of crap. Refs don?t give to shits about Everton. Like James explains Everton have dignity but fat load of good that does when refs can be swayed by managers. It's not just that refs have a bias towards the sky 4 but now lower clubs like Blackburn are doing it.

When another manager comes out with this stuff, it's up to Moyes to shoot it down and draw attention to what they are trying to do so we put our own brand of pressure on the ref.

We seem to have lost Victor to a horror tackle for the rest of the season and I believe the punishments involved should mirror the offence. The tackle on Victor was horrific ? a career-ending tackle to a lesser built player and all that Nolan will serve is a 3-match ban. This ban will be for 3 games which may or may not have any bearing on our season regarding our final place in the table.

My thoughts are that any tackle that bad that results in any player missing several games, then the player who gets sent off for the crime should serve as long as the player is out of action. Also the 3 matches that the player should miss are the next matches that take place against the side who he gets sent off against.

Andy,

Don’t worry too much about it; everyone including the refs are aware of the pathetic tactics of Fat Sam, he is a shite manager and he puts out shite teams. He has a fuckin cheek to be honest as Kevin Davies was and still is a dirty bastard at Bolton.

My only concern to be honest is the attention Cahill may get from other Refs after the Blackburn game; Cahill is a very clever player and one who uses his whole body to gain the advantage over taller, heavier players.

Like an earlier comment, Blackburn will go down and Sam will drift off into the sunset; the fat tosser!

You get what your deserve in life and Allardyce will soon be plying his trade in the Championship. His side was bloody awful and confirmed what most lovers of the game feel, he is a footballing dinosaur. The sooner managers like this are shunted down the leagues the better.

"And, in other news, 5 billion people had much better things to do with their time... "

That leaves about 1.5 billion who are interested in what goes on at Everton Football club.
Now, if we could only get a quid off each one of them!

Sorry Andy, I don't agree with you. I just think it makes us look like pathetic whingers. I know it's our right to be bitter but not everything is a conspiracy against us. Moyes uses mind games too when he wants to. Cahill is a niggly player ? love him to bits but sure I would hate him if he played for someone else.

Stayed in the same hotel as that prick Wiley last year when we played United ? got beat 4-2 at home. He sat on the table next to us for breakfast and my Uncle made a comment "Any chance of giving us a penalty today, Alan?" and his reponse was "You don?t sound like a United fan" ? to me implying he would only give a penalty to United the wanker.

His refereeing on Tuesday was diabolical. We would have been Joe fucking Wiley than Alan Wiley.
