Rooney gets nursery in Everton colours!!

Comments (37)

From an article in the Sun:

"MAN United Red Devil WAYNE ROONEY is planning a nursery for his first child ? in Everton?s BLUE colours.

Pals were stunned when Wayne, who was an Everton fan when he was a kid and played for them until 2004, told them of his plans if the baby is a boy.

For he wants to turn the nursery into a shrine to United?s Premier League rivals.

The insider added: ?Wayne had to make do with posters of his hero DUNCAN FERGUSON on the walls of his old home.

?He wants the little one to have the ultimate boy?s bedroom."

I wouldn?t think anything because it's the Sun... therefore it's probably a crock of shit.

Rooney has been touched by Everton as a kid...and when you are touched by Everton, it can never really leave you.

A poor attempt by the Fat Head PR machine to quieten some of the projected animosity towards him (especially with the news he?s breeding) ahead of the FA Cup semi-final which will be broadcast around the World.

All together now "the baby?s not yours..."

Can?t wait for Wembley.

Anyone noticed him trying to kiss ass his way into our affections recently? Saying he hates Liverpool, painting his kid's nursery in Everton's colours...

I think he was a young boy, who had his head turned by a manipulative agent. It?s obvious he?s not the brightest lad around and when he was attacked by Everton fans, he just lashed back with the badge-kissing etc. Probably deep in his heart, he still is a Blue.....I could be wrong... but you never know ? after all, it was in The Sun...

Although I hate him for leaving us, there's no doubting that he is always going to be a Blue ? even if he wants to deny it when he plays against us, it's in his blood and if he has a boy I have no doubt that he?ll be a Blue as well.

Supporting Everton is not like supporting Liverpool: Once a Blue always a Blue. I hope Rooney Junior grows up a Blue, plays for the Blues, and has a bit of class and stays with the Blues and earns trophies with us.

I reckon he wants to go back to Everton one day and is trying to re-build the burnt bridges. I can see him ending his career with Everton... but, no matter what, he will never be the legend he could've been. I bet deep down he would love to be playing for us on Sunday and go on to lift the FA Cup at Wembley with Everton; he would never admit that, though, because of the character he is!

If it puts him off his game, which it does, then definitely yes.

I?ll do anything for us to do them over and get to the final and if it means upsetting that fat little knobhead then all the better.

Let's look at this logically for a second. He is earning £100k a week at one of the best clubs in the world. He has an FA Cup medal, a Champions League medal as well as his Premier League medal. He is worth millions in image and commercial deals... Do you really think that deep down he wishes he was still a blue? Don't be soft.

He may come back in the future and I hope he does. As a player, I love his drive and passion, he?s a product of our academy and that is something we should be proud of.

We?ll find out on Sunday ? because, if for any reason he didn?t play, it would greatly increase our chances. He is their best player; without him, they don't look the same. I honestly believe he is the only stumbling block to our chances of reaching the final.

So come on, Rooney, make all your friends and family (who are all Blues!) proud and cry off this match!

You're a sentimental lot. Fair enough, he needed to further his carear and make his money while he could and he made Everton lots of money, but there is no need for the badge kissing and his behaviour when he plays Everton.

He?s a judas in my eyes and always will be, he stabbed Everton in the back and went against all Evertonian values, by sayiny ?once a blue always a blue? but then just becoming another glory seeker at the end of the day.

He showed the attitude of a Liverpool fan and broke the hearts of the kids who were just like him and who idolised him. I would never want to see him or his child wearing an Evertonian shirt, he doesn't deseve to.

Why does everyone seem to have this idea that because he left at the age of 17 to join one of the biggest football teams in the world , he no longer supports Everton in any way?

From where I look in, he and his family are blues. I would imagine they avoid Goodison due to the vitriol aimed at their son, and indirectly them. I?m not saying he didn?t bring it on himself with some unwise actions during games against us, but if memory serves our supporters booed his younger brother during a cup game last year just for being related to him?

Gavin

I’m not sure how old you are mate, but I’m guessing you’re not aware of the feelings scousers have towards this tatty little rag

The sun has played a huge part in creating the brainless stereotypical image huge sections of the UK still today have about have about the people of Liverpool
This grubby little paper published some vile spiteful lies about our city and its inhabitants. Yes they’ll admit they were wrong - now
But they accused scousers of the worst crimes imaginable, insinuating it was typical scouse behavior.
This sewer sheet only retracted these evil lies when they could not substantiate a single word they’d printed.
The Sun was eventually forced to admit there was not a grain of truth in the stories they had peddled and issued a grovelling apology
20 years on there’s a good chance you’ll get you’ll be greeted with abject disgust even abuse for reading this paper on the streets of Liverpool

Ditch it mate, you’ll never learn anything from it anyway

It doesn’t matter if you think he was right or wrong for leaving & I understand there could have been many reasons he had little control over. But he cannot be forgiven for his actions & alleged remarks including him having to compensate Moyes for what was said in his book. Totally uncalled for & that makes him unwanted & an absolute shit of a person...

We all want bigger and better things but as Everton fans you would think you would want bigger and better things with Everton,

As someone said to Gerrard when he considered moving to Chelsea, who's he going to show his medals to when he stopped playing? Who in Liverpool would want to talk about or be interested in medals for Chelsea?

No one on Merseyside, red or blue, would want to talk to that scum bag Rooney. He could have been like a God at Everton, even Liverpool fans would have had a grudging respect for him had he stayed, he wouldn't have had to buy a pint again in his life. Now he?ll have to spend the rest of his days in Manchester where they all hate scousers... and when he's finished the game. he?ll just be another fat scouser to them.

One thing you can guarantee is that any Rooney post gets enough rapid responses as a DK one...

Whether his head was turned, or he was the cash cow to stave off administration is neither here nor there - he left.

He ill-advisedly published a ghost-written book, and was forced to pay damages to Moyes (which I believe were donated to a charity).

He gets shit load of abuse on his return, so somewhat understandably, if unwisely, gives it back when he / they score.

He’s put his family on easy street, so they will always be supportive of him, but doesn’t mean that deep down they aren’t still blue. (His comments about the Rhys Jones tragedy).

The "expose" of dressing room tapping a couple of years back showed footage of him coming in after a Man U victory, and whilst all wanted to know how their rivals got on, he only wanted to know Everton’s result. Why? Because he wanted us to lose? Some people here need to move on.

I’m sure he had his reasons, and they’ll come out in time. Same as Gary Speed. Didn’t stop him being labelled a "shithouse" did it?

I totally agree with Chris Lawlor, a very sensible and fair comment, Chris. Let's face it, look at Everton at the time he made his decision to move, a little different from the progressive one you see now.

Personally, I would like him to have given us 3 years to try and turn things around (which we have done) and if nothing happened then he would still be only 21 and then he could leave, the fee would still have been there.

The scenario of where Everton would have been without the Utd transfer money, the fact that we have had good deals on Tim Howard (oh doesnt he look good after Reina and Cechs howlers last night!) Phil Neville and Louis Saha on a free, make me think the deal was far better for us than first imagined.

I hope in the cup there is no venom and dirty chants thrown at Wayne, he is a footballer doing what he is paid to do, but in turn I hope he plays the game fair also, after all the prodigal son may yet return one day. COYBs

Money makes the world go around, the world go around, that clinking, clanking sound....

30 pieces of silver, oh what one can do with that......

10 or 15 pieces just weren?t enough....

Well maybe the prodigal son could return one day. Frankly, I don?t care anymore.

Man Utd may be one of the biggest teams in the world but Everton, for me, are still the best team in the world and I?m pleased if Wayne's family still support the blues....

Let?s concentrate on next Saturday and forget the media nonsense.

If you are a football player, wouldn?t you have wanted to reach the pinnacle if playing football? And of course make lots of bucks doing that?

Fine, Rooney could have turned out a Everton legend... but doing what? Helping us reach 5th place every season... reaching finals then loosing?

Let?s face it, football became a business and as a footballer you need to decide. Yes, he supported us a kid... but so did a lot of footballers and went on playing for bigger clubs.

Ronaldo (Sporting fan)
Figo (Benfica fan, and keep in mind he move from Barca to Madrid)
Raul (Athletico)
Rooney (Everton)

the list goes on and on. So guys, stop crying over sh!t, we should be over Ronney years ago (you are like my 80-year-old granny). Let?s hope Bill Gates (any billionare) decides to buy our club, then we can buy back Rooney and pay him what he deserves.

Well done Rooney for making a huge success, let?s hope if you?re kid has any skill like you that he runs out for us. (hope he?s not a ugly, cause we need a Beckham lookalike that can generate more income for us).
