Thanks to David Moyes

Watching the faces of our boys proudly walking out of the tunnel hit me with 3 words. They deserve it!
For the 3rd successive year they have broken through. They have raised the standard of our expectations, removed the glass ceiling to our accomplishments and stayed true to our principles. Success is no longer a distant hope but a plausible destination.
Wayne Rooney must've paused realising that Everton would indeed make history without him. The team that couldn?t match his ambitions will be too busy to take his call on May the 30th. When his progeny asks ?what did you do? during Everton?s period of revival, will he truly be comfortable saying ?playing for another!?
In a majority there will always be a minority of dissenting voices. Criticism of David has accomplished one thing? measured his progress! Acquiring the ability to become as consistent in cup competitions as they are in the league is a symbol of improvement. For that there is only one man to thank. David Moyes.
Everton can offer David something that he will never be able to achieve at Manchester United? A genuine chance to build a legacy of his own! I for one hope he does. Thanks Dave, see you at Wembley!

COYB!
Proud of the staff and the bench
Great to see Mickey A . and Stubbsy down on the pitch giving support to the lads before the penalties, while manures ’stars’ were watching at home, true blue spirit once again.
And finally hugely proud of every single blue that got to wembley and made it such an event, they were a credit to the club and to football.
All together now "its a grand old team to play for, its a grand old team to support!!!"
Each and every player wanted to beat United; each and every player wants to end Everton's trophy drought. We may have faced a weakened United, but to get were we are we have beaten Liverpool without a fit striker and thrashed a full strength Villa. Yesterday's result is a testament to how far we have come under Moyes, it's a reward for all the faith he puts into his squad week-in, week-out. It's a reward to the players, for all the passion they show on the field. It's a reward to Kenwright who has stuck by Moyes in the hectic modern footballing world climate through thick and thin.
But most of all it's a reward to all of us fans who have been there through all the relegation battles, embarrassing cup exits, transfer windows and European heartbreak. It's our reward for sticking by this great club through everything it's thrown at us.
We may not of won anything yet, but if we take the same belief with us to Wembley next month... who knows?
Thus far...
Benitez 13.6
Ferguson 1.2
Hodgson 17.3
O Neill 2.5
Pulis 8.6
Moyes 58.8.
A 3rd MOTS award in 7 years maybe ?
Well said Jason, that is precisely what the Tony Marsh?s of this world can?t get into their heads. Moyes has brought us so far from the dark days of relegation battles every year. We should thank our lucky stars we got this guy (credit to BK for taking the chance) now Chelsea and Man U fans seem to be casting envious eyes in our direction.
Watch the press rumours about him leaving for a "bigger" club escalate if we beat Chelsea in the final. My guess is he?ll stay but BK HAS to find him some sort of decent budget for this summer to move forward with and I hope that?s not just wishful thinking on my part.
.... and Stubbsy is on the coaching staff so I would hope he would be there.
But what is also great was listening to Ronnie Goodlass on Merseyside last night talking about how the club took all the old players down for the match ? the Cannonball Kid included. He would have buried one of the pens ? even now! That is what makes this club great.
Unfortunately I couldn’t get a ticket for the game. Living in Leeds and not being on the best salary only allows me about 10 trips to Goodison a season. Already booked a trip to Hong Kong in the summer to see a mate and I don’t really know how I’m going to fund that, never mind buying a ticket for 5 times its face value for Wembley, but now we’re in the final I might have to rethink.
However, sat in my mates kitchen with the volume cranked up on the wide screen tv, I was soooo proud of the fans who made it. YOU GUYS WERE DIFFERENT CLASS!!! It sent shivers up my spine all game, but the start of the second half was something else! Classic moment on ITV when they were drawing attention to the raucous Evertonians, they cut to a slow motion shot of about 20 Everton fans all chanting in syncronisation, all bar one bloke right in the middle with his arms folded across his chest and an intense look on his face. I guess he was just watching the game, but it made me laugh cos he stuck out like a sore thumb.
Anyway, WELL DONE DAVEY, THE FANS, THE TEAM AND EVERYONE AT EFC!!!!
COYB let’s bring that pot back to Goodison!!

However, the noise, colour and general sense of joy from our support was incredible. Bravo. That day will live long in my memory. Made for a very pleasant train and flight back to Dublin.
