FA cup final allocation

Comments (15)

I'm a Stoke fan but fans from a high profile club such as Everton, should start a campaign. Every fan from every Premier League club should boycott all FA cup games, when two Premier League clubs are drawn to play each other, until they guarantee 35000 tickets to both finalists.

If any tickets aren't sold, they could go back to the FA. This would still leave at least 20,000 tickets for the neutrals. All lower league clubs fans should still go to give their clubs the much needed revenue.

Can you imagine the impact a 'big' game in an empty stadium would have ?

Ian, nice sentiment but I can’t see it happening bud. I live in the potteries and I am impressed by the passion and commitment of you Stoke fans - would you all really sit out a big important FA cup clash if the potters were on for glory? I’d bet not!

Ian, whilst we can all agree with the sentaments of your post I could never see it happening.

Football fans are far too fickle to bother with something like that. Take United fans for example. Their new owners have introduced a cup ticket scheme which is so wrong it is laughable. However they still shift 45k season tickets each year.

As for Stoke, even though your manager is big Texan, I’ll enjoy having you in the PL next season. Lets just hope all three North East teams go down....

I’d love the skunks to go down as the team are a bunch of dirty bastard mercenaries and the stewards and old bill at St James’ always give away fans a hard time with heavy handed treatment metered out to both sexes whilst the animals posing as home fans get away with murder, the reason I refuse to go there anymore, good riddance.

Me too, I remember sitting in the Netley on County Road a few years back after they turned us over with Cole and Beardsley scoring and some old Geordie patronisingly said ’nevermind your time will come one day’ Well it did a couple of years later in 95 and is again in a month’s time, whilst this fella, if he is still with us has probably seen nothing in his life.
They are smug and dont get me started on how they are allowed to fill our pubs singing before games. yet if you go up there you will get a bottle over your head if you try the same thing.

Ian - gutted i missed out on a trip to the Brittania this season, but glad to make up next year! As above, and apologies Matty, I too would love 2 of the NE sides to go down, Skunks and the awful McLaren impersonator Southgate and his tiny boro side. Would like WBA to get out of it and Fat Sam to go down instead. The man personifies the word knobhead.

As for a protest re tickets, Id be up for that. Cant see any of us who get tickets not using them, so maybe a nice big blue banner to be unvailed at Wembley with the slogan "we are the football family"... That said, the FA probably wouldnt get it...

Ian agree with what you say protest in numbers but it wont happen, the same with some of the rules of the game like getting booked for takeing your shirt off mybe if all the players took there tops off at the same time would the ref book all 11 players I wonder.

They would just bring price down to like a fiver, test our resolve, and we would all go running back .

I for one will be ecstatic when newcastle drop, aside from my mates adamant taunts that newcastle are better and a bigger club than everton, the constant shit there fans come out with is embarassing. "Futtin win the League this year leek" "Best futtin fans in thah World leek!"

Good riddance :)

Forget Newcastle,

They all eat deep fried magic mushrooms!

But our Evertonians banner at the final should read "FA are a bunch of public schoolboy numbnuts ps so are the BBC".

First and foremost, I totally blame the FA for their measly allocation of tickets to our club for the final, but I think Everton should have thought more about the distribution of our tickets. As this is our first major final in 14 years, then surely fans with the longest continuous history of holding a season ticket should be rewarded with a cup final ticket first.

The club could and should have looked at fans who have 10 or more years ST history first and then down on a sliding scale to ½-ST holders for the present season. This would be a fairer way of rewarding loyalty because if only 1 person with 10 years service misses out on a Wembley ticket, whether through health, wealth or other reasons,to a ½-ST holder with 3 match credits,it will be one too many.

Here is my theory on how to get a ticket for the cup final. I have so far managed to buy 4 tickets. Here goes.

We have been allocated 25,000 tickets, not every season ticket holder will get a ticket. So the chances of any season ticket holder geting a ticket and selling it is 0%.

There is 17,000 Club Wembley season ticket holders at the moment. If you are a season ticket holder at wembley you are guaranteed a ticket for every event whether it be a concert, play offs, cup final etc. If you dont want to attend a event you can release your ticket and wembley will sell it for you. How you can buy the unwanted tickets is to join My Wembley which costs £50.00 for 1 year.

When you join you have access to the My Wembley website. When a season ticket holder decides they dont want a ticket it gets sold on the website. It is a live website so is updated every 10 minutes. The tickets what get sold are Club Wembley Tickets for £249.99,Silver Tickets which are £399.99 and Gold tickets are £499.99 and Bobby Moore seats are £69.99 Upwards. All seats are executive. The more you pay the closer to the half way line you are.

So if you are looking for tickets these ones are the only ones which are on the market. People are selling them £249.99 tickets on here for £700.00. Tell them to piss off and buy your own. I am a Club Wembley member and have so far managed to get 4 Club Wembley tickets for family. If any one would like my help to buy them a ticket please email me on andyfefc@googlemail.com.

We should be helping each other get a ticket as opposed to ripping each other off. I understand this might encourage touts but im sure it will help many of you out there.

Be quick and stay on the My Wembley website all day and keep refreshing as its updated every 10 mins. Then when tickets come up have card details at the ready. Good Luck!!

I hope this helps. COYB

Just had an email at work from Wembley entitled ?the only guaranteed way to see the cup final? hospitality@news.wembleystadium.com. Advertising Club Wembley seats for the cup final at massively inflated prices.

These people are beyond belief and reproach. What absolute hypocrites, they want us to out the touts, well I suggest that we start with them.

Seriously there must be something we can do about this.
