A WIN! and A CLEAN SHEET!

Back to basics I guess. 3 points, a 1-0 score, and a horrific display of football. Got to say its comforting. These high scoring affairs don't seem to suit us well. I'll take a 1-0 for the rest of the season thanks. I also, am taking this time to take back my bad words towards Fellaini. Today he was clearly the best player on the pitch and his MU goal is building his star power deservedly so. Slowly fulfilling his price tag.

One final word. PLEASE no Saha to start against Fulham, give Anichebe or Vaughan a chance! They get on and actually look bright! That's all Up The BLUES! Literally, 12th in the table.

Vaughan should start every game if he’s fit.

It?s not Saha that is the problem, it?s the Yak. Saha winning loads of balls and Yak too far away from him to benefit. Also Yak taking too long to get onside and defending is a definite no for him. Thought Anichebe linked up better with Saha, so I would like to see Saha start with either Vaughan or Anichebe. Still it was worth freezing myself just to see the delight on the players faces at the final whistle.
One more point ? Neville starting to lead by example, passing getting much better and urging the players right until the final whistle.

A 3-0 win against Fulham and we could be back in the top half. I know I get knocked for saying it but after our start this season 10th will feel very good indeed!

@ Ciarán

I liken him to a younger version of Saha. Strong, quick, and gets stuck in all the time. Just a shame he shares one of Saha?s traits that he could really do without ? persistant injuries.

Vaughan works much harder than Yakubu and Saha and has bags of pace and jumps off the ground to make aerial challenges (unlike the Yak) and puts pressure on defences by closing them down and given the chance I?m sure he?s score a few goals. When was the last time Saha or Yakubu scored? Maybe its time to give this lad a go and if he doesn?t score atleast he works a hard shift for the team.

I personally would like to see the formation that worked so well last season being tried again 4-5-1 now that we have Cahill back and it allows us to link up play between the midfield and strikers more effectively and allowing Pienaar and Arteta to play with more width.

As for Fellaini, I remember watching him in his first few games (most notably against Stoke) and I thought for his size he should be winning a lot more headers against opponents and more recently he seems to be winning almost every aerial challenge he is coming up against and he is showing that he is a definite threat to our opposition. However, I still think there is much room for improvement and development such as his workrate and use of the ball perhaps.

Much as I love the Yak for his goalscoring it would be nice to see him work a bit harder for the team.

Like everyone here I'm sure, I was just glad to get the win. We didn't play well, but as we were drifting dangerously towards the drop zone, it was all about getting three points.

Agree with the comment about Fellaini too. That's two good performances in a row from him, let's hope it continues!

Would like to see Moyes shuffle the pack a little against Fulham. This is a game we should win, I would like to see Anichebe and Vaughan start.

Both players are young and hungary and have been used sparingly by Moyes this season, Saha has played quite a few games on the trot and could do with a rest, and the Yak needs a kick up the backside.

We would then have either of the latter two availabe on the bench as an insurance policy.

Would also like to see Rodwell given a run of games in the Carsley role, probably at the expense of Osman.

I hope to god Moyes doesn’t move Neville into midfield, and Hibbert to right back, that would be typical Moyes.
