Moyes hates Yobo

Comments (3)

On the OS today, Moyes was harping on about what a great influence Neville has had on the team this year and went onto to say this

Moyes continued: "The core here is really, really good and by the core at Everton I include Phil Jagielka, Mikel Arteta, Leon Osman, Tony Hibbert, Tim Cahill and Leighton Baines."

Given that Yobo has been here longer than all bar Hibbo where exactly does that leave him? Also what about Peanut? I guess we can forget him since we're going to have to sell him before his contract runs out to pay back the Bily money...

Oh please tell me this is a joke post!!

Just because DM doesnt mention a player in reference to a specific question it doesnt mean he hates the bloke and is getting ready to sell him a.s.a.p!!

If you’ve got nothing positive to say or cant think of anything that will start a really good debate then dont bother wasting your time with useless posts!!

Sorry to pick on semantics but firstly Moyes said he INCLUDED those players i.e. the list isn’t limited to them and secondly he appears to be talking about the players who form the core of the club not necessarily the core of the football team. It’s been well publicised that Tim Cahill is a great player to have around and Arteta and him are known to be good friends. Moyes has commented repeatedly that Hibbert and Osman are in the brickwork of Goodison so it suggests he’s probably talking about that rather than footballing ability.
