With his size and strength, Fellaini can dominate opposing midfielders in central midfield. When used further forward, Everton miss his two biggest assets; they are his tackling and aerial ability.

He will have to drop back into midfield again since Gibson is still out. Until Gibson is fit again then Fellaini needs to drop back to midfield again. He was poor against Baggies so he might deliver again when playing in his natural position.

Not to worry if Felliani himself and the Lame Stream EneMedia and a hardly positive Davey Boy are to be believed we wont have a problem of where to play him because he wont be here. Maybe as soon as the January window.

"Everton miss his two biggest assets; they are his tackling and aerial ability"

The guy who wrote that has been watching a different Fellaini than the one we have.

No Eric, the one you have. The one the vast majority watch has exceptional ability in tackling and in the air.

Dithering Davey's own words on Felliani :-

'I won't say there's no chance in the next window because everybody is available throughout the world if the offer is right,' Moyes said.

'But one thing I know is the transfer window is closed so he's not going anywhere right now.'

Note the 'RIGHT NOW' which leave the January transfer window wide open for Davey to offload.

Peter Barry.

What do you expect him to say?
"He's not leaving for £50m", and watch him walk out in January for half that much thanks to Bill appeasing tha banks. Give Moyes a break will you.

If you care to read the article, the two points I made are backed up with the relevant statistics.

I don't think he'll be defensive midfield, though I do think that his best position.

Newcastle are bare bones in defence. Fully expect Moyes to try to take advantage by sending him up to wreak havoc again.

I think myself it will be Neville but a change would really be welcome. Is Junior fit? It would be good to see him get a run out if fit. He got good reviews pre-season...

Heres a radical idea, if Newcastle defensive woes then why not play attacking/creative players in the attacking positions?
