Everton U18s 2 - 2 Liverpool U18s
Everton U18s took the lead over their local rivals Liverpool twice in today's micro-derby at Finch Farm but could not stop the Reds from getting a point.
The young Blues enter the final six matches of the season in 10th place in the North Division of the Under-18 Premier League but this is their penultimate home game.
Ray Roberts starts as centtre=forward, with Jcob Beaumont-Clark and Callum Bates playing after coming on as substitutes last night for the U21s.
After 40 minutes, Joel Catesby put the Blues ahead with a goal before the break. The visitors eventually scored an equalizer with 15 minutes left but Everton countered well, George Finney getting the second goal for them.
But Liverpool got their second equalizer almost straight away. And that's how it stayed.
Everton U18s: G Pickford, Finney, Moonan [Y:69'], O Samuels-Smith, Thomas, Patterson [Y:87'], Beaumont-Clark (73' Van Schoor), Foster, Roberts (61' Stewart), Bates [Y:63'], Catesby.
Subs not Used: Graham, Gardner, Wren.

Still waiting for my roving reporter to furnish me with the last details of the game.
It's costing me a bleedin' bomb paying this lad to do his roving report!
