Rochdale 1 - 0 Everton U21s
Everton U21s lost at Rochdale on Tuesday night in Group A of the National League Cup at the Crown Oil Arena.
Adam Aznou gets another start for the youngsters with Everton playing in their away strip, Rochdale wearing what looks like a normal blue & white Everton strip.
Rochdale took the lead after the break when a wicked deflection off Gomez's attempted clearance saw the ball spiral over Pickford's desperate dive.
Ebere on as a sub got behind the Rochdale defence but he could not get his shot past the keeper. And the match finished in defeat for the Everton youngsters.
Everton U21s: G Pickford, Finney, Aznou, Davis (59' Benjamin), Welch, Campbell, Bates (77' Boakye), J Patterson, Morgan (59' Ebere), Gomez (59' Foster), Graham.

Still 10 minutes to go and Akarakiri was not in the side. No red cards.

Fair enough. My informant is usually spot on with the news he gives, although it costs me a few pound to get the info out of him — which I never get back off you!
