Just got back from watching Wuthering Sheights at the flicks with the missus. Anyone thinking of doing so, don't! It's as grim as our first half's lately and contrary to popular sneak press reviews Miss Robbie does not get her kit off!

Re Delap I think he made the wrong choice of team to suit his style. He's not a Chelsea player and never will be. He'd be good for us and by signing that wall would've been an instant fan favourite. I reckon he'll be with us somehow next season.

Nice to see two ex-Evertonians -- John Stones and Luke Garbutt -- as opposing captains in the Man City versus Salford tie.

Stake is crap but I would not want Fireball on the front of Everton's kit.

I guess Ancient Age and Mad Dog already have other contracts.

Salford should have scored there '59.

XL5 though, Dale!

That would be cool!

And that's why we need VAR...

Because the refs are fucking shite!

Brighton look a tad weak up front.

Problem is Tony #8, it's the same shite refs marking the homework of their shite ref mates.

Imagine one of them scoring three for us John.

Funny hearing the Scottish commentator calling Chermiti's transfer fee 'huge'. He also called him 'a question mark'!

Some of us thought he might be worth holding onto and I know the Scottish Premiership is not as good as it used to be but I think he might be close to double figures now with the two he scored v Celtic to clinch a win against them.

Maybe the Rangers fans will change their minds about him and the club might make a decent profit on him now — do we have any claim on the profit they make if they do.

John, I was disappointed when we sold him, always thought he had something.

TBF he was a bust for a long time, Rangers fans had no use for him. Now they're singing his name. Good for him.

Couldn't hit a cow's arse with a banjo here. Just shows difference in standard PL v SCP.

Struggled, Mike, but rewarded today. I would have kept him tbh.

Only early days but to pay £50M for Beto and Barry and sell him for £8M seems daft.

Mike #21,

I remember watching Chermiti come on against Sligo Rovers in preseason last season and he scored twice and looked way better than Beto that day.

Injuries and lack of first-team action cost him here.

I remember that Sligo game too, Christy.

Chermiti has 7 in 15 appearances for Rangers, Dave A, (I imagine that a few of those games have been off the bench). Not a bad return, although he seems to save himself for the big games: Hearts x3, Celtic x2.

I think that it would be fair to say that he was not welcomed with open arms by the Bears who were worried by the high price and the criticisms still in flow. He got trounced in midweek after missing a sitter v Motherwell in a poor performance by him and the team.

Our old mate Gerard D is also trying to fight back who says that he is looking for a 'miracle'.

Three years on, Deulofeu is still fighting for 'miracle' return

Why are they called the Bears?

I know Celtic call them the Hun, but why the bears?

Mark... apparently there are woods near Ibrox.

You know what happens in woods.
