Everton U21s 0 - 2 Borussia Dortmund U21s

Everton U21s were knocked out of the Premier League International Cup by Borussia Dortmund at Walton Hall Park on Wednesday night.
The Young Blues did well enough up until the 56th minute when they conceded a penalty that was converted past Douglass Lukjanciks in the Everton goal.
Everton had some great chances to equalize after that but the ball just wouldn't go in for them. And a killer goal from the Germans in added time wrapped things up and terminated Everton's involvement in this competition.
Everton U21s: Lukjanciks, Samuels-Smith, Van Schoor, Welch, Thomas, Bates (62' Olayiwola), Boakye (63' Pita), Gomez (79' Beaumont-Clark), Loney (63' Benjamin), Akarakiri, Graham.
Subs not Used: Patrick, Davis, Ebere.

The penalty decision that broke the deadlock was highly questionable imo.
