I think he is much better and was thinking exactly the same. They have Cherki, Doku, Foden and Semenyo who would all be ahead of Ndiaye.

Yes but they’ll rotate and make substitutions meaning that they all play and are fresher when they do.

How is it possible that Chelsea and Man City are shifting these absolute flops for these mental, inflated prices?! Nicolas Jackson to Villa for £65M, Savinho to Spurs for £85M, and then Marmoush and Garnacho going for £50M–£60M each? It makes zero sense on the pitch.
It looks like these clubs are just scratching each other's backs to game the PSR rules. Because when you sell a player, you get to log the full fee as instant profit on this year's books. But when you buy one back for the same price, you get to spread that cost over a 5-year contract.
They are literally just trading player names on a spreadsheet at inflated valuations to artificially wipe out their losses and balance each other's books. It's not football anymore, it's just financial engineering and the game is completely gone.

I have been thinking the same. Prices paid for some very ordinary players, who have failed at their selling clubs don't stack up. Jackson, Savinho, Marmoush are good examples, include Delap.
Then there's the offloads to the Saudis.
Guess some questioned the McNeil - Johnson swap.

I think the Premier League launched their own subscription channel in Singapore this season, Ian. If that proves the success everyone expects, then revenues and transfer fees are only going one way. And that is massively up.
It feels like another step up in the going rate for players, with the top spending £100M plus regularly -- that drags up the rest... Still the same number of players, but possibly twice the revenue chasing them in time.

To posters slagging off Barry for not scoring off 2-3 very good chances - mainly due to excellent goalkeeping, in my opinion - I would ask them to look at Bryan Mbuemo's miss from a yard out and an open goal (I kid you not).

I don't understand how that Maguire goal is allowed to stand? He uses his hands to control the ball and shoots at the goal but miskicks it and it is going away from goal, but the Ipswich defender diverts it into his goal. Bizarre

Switched off was a decent game until the ref and his assistants got involved, that first goal was handball by a united player, the penalty made me laugh, Fernandez scores from a penalty, has done nothing before and the commentators think he is a world beater
