The Tractor Boys come to Hill Dickinson Stadium this afternoon just below Everton on goal difference after a decent start to the season

Jack Grealish starts but no Dibling, of course, and Harrison Armstrong is back, with Johnson preferred, no doubt for his vast experience... The usual Moyes nonsense of naming two goalkeeepers on the bench means one less place for any promising youngster from the U21, with only Graham sitting there, and unlikely to see much action. 

 

Everton: Pickford; Maitland-Niles, Tarkowski, Branthwaite, Mykolenko; Armstrong, Garner, Dewsbury-Hall; Grealish, Barry, Johnson.

Subs: Travers, King, Keane, O'Brien, Hackney, Alcaraz, George, Dibling, Graham

Did anyone actually expect Moyes to select the young players like Dibling, George or Alcaraz?

Johnson has done little so far.

I thought we might see George or Dibling from the start.

No George, no Dibbling? Why are we starting with Johnson? In my opinion, it would be better to field the young players first to wear down the Ipswich defense.

It's typical Moyes, Johnson has been so poor, how is George not on the right, and Dibling played so well in midweek, baffling?

Moyes never does the obvious! If he could only pick a team he would be a half decent manager! Of course George amd Dibling should start! Still, gives us plenty pf options from the bench!

Typical Moyes to revert to type - three keepers (U21’s played today) and leaves two good players on the bench and Johnson on who’s not exactly ripped up any trees. Barry needs benching as well so let’s see if he can score UTFT COYB

I think Dibling should have started, given his performance the other night. Hopefully both, he, and George come on in the 2nd half.

Dreadful management to be picking Johnson when he's been shite first two games why he hasn't picked hackney is anyone's guess
