Everton Shade It In The Sunshine

The match wasn’t a great one… the first half particularly slow and pedestrian though the second was more entertaining as Everton looked to finish the job after Pienaar had swept home on 16 minutes following an excellent passing move involving Osman and Coleman.

The Blues Keep On Pushing

Whilst we all went into the game optimistic we could record a win against doomed QPR, we all know that Everton never do these things the easy way and failure to overcome QPR was at the back of my mind. Thankfully I left Goodison Park satisfied we had done what we had to having witnessed a QPR team so devoid of fight it was quite remarkable.

About As Bad As It Gets

On the way home we tried making light of the situation. I mean, from the outside looking in you would have to laugh at the ridiculousness of relegation candidates Wigan turning up at apparent Champions League hopefuls Everton and having the audacity to batter them 3-0. Looking at the bigger picture however and it’s sad that Moyes will in all probability leave Everton with nothing to show for his 11 years of service.

Always Doing It The Hard Way

"As we continued to miss chances you got a little jittery as the game was worryingly poised at 2 - 1, but we were able to see the game out without much discomfort."
