Some of the Scottish players against Germany played as if they were school kids in the playground. MacGregor, I think it was, twice tried to intercept passes when the sensible option was simply not to overcommit and take yourself out of the game.
I only saw snippets of tonight's game but again there seemed to be a lack of basic control / patience which saw them time and again concede possession far to cheaply and allow the Hungarians to threaten.
