Everton U18s 0 - 3 Leeds Utd U18s

Everton U18s lost at home to Leeds Utd in today's U18 Premier League fixture at Finch Farm, kick-off at 12 noon. 

There was a slew of new names added to the teamsheet at this level for the first time:

  • Rocco Lambert – defender
  • Amari Moses – midfielder
  • Louis Poland – midfielder
  • Benjamin Grainger – midfielder
  • Charlie Stewart – midfielder
  • Malik Olayiwola – forward

The Blues held their own until just before the break when the visitors notched the first goal. The visitors went further ahead with another goal after the break, and a third that wrapped the game up with 20 minutes left. 

Everton U18s:  G Pickford, Lambert, Van Schoor, Finney, Thomas, Foster, Beaumont-Clark, Bates, Morgan, Wren (70' Stewart), Catesby [Y:31'].

Subs not Used: Moses, Poland, Grainger, Olayiwola.

I believe that Moses and Olayiwola are U15s, the rest U16s, so a very, very young squad.
