Clarke has come through the Dons’ academy and made his debut aged 15 when coming off the bench in an EFL Trophy clash against Wycombe Wanderers. In doing so, he became the London outfit’s youngest player ever. He will join Everton Academy's U18s where a group of fresh faces are starting the season under Leighton Baines in the U18 Premier League. Disclaimer () Jack Convery 1 Posted 16/09/2024 at 21:39:27 Welcome son. As you're a Womble, can you please clean up the mess that's Everton Football Club? If you do, you'll be a Super Womble, Wombling Free and give us all a great Wombling Merry Xmas. I'll get my coat.Seriously, good luck lad. Hopefully we'll get to see you in the first team one day. Robert Tressell 2 Posted 16/09/2024 at 23:12:26 It is entirely possible this is the best signing of 2024. Until we have money to compete with other Premier League clubs, this is our best way to build a quality side. Welcome, Justin, and I hope you are a cracking player. Matt Traynor 3 Posted 17/09/2024 at 01:19:48 I received a link to the Wimbledon press release from a womble-supporting friend.LinkNicely written. (The accompanying message from my friend less so…) Alan J Thompson 4 Posted 17/09/2024 at 04:44:47 Only 7 years and 3 loans and we might see him on the 1st team bench but good luck to the lad. Dave Abrahams 5 Posted 17/09/2024 at 09:52:59 I wish the lad the best of luck at Everton, looks like he is very tall and years left to grow some more.Michael I also wish you the best of luck with your record keeping and you have to put the name of one of our lads full name into your records, his surname is Akarakiri followed by 8 Christian names most with nine or ten letters in the name, check him out! Danny O'Neill 6 Posted 17/09/2024 at 10:15:24 I'm guessing Thelwell is dictating signings. We have a decent blend of experience (Gueye, Tarkowski, Young and Pickford), but an increasingly young squad.Good luck to him. Mark Murphy 7 Posted 17/09/2024 at 10:58:21 The word “decent” is doing some very heavy lifting there, Danny…UTFT Robert Tressell 8 Posted 17/09/2024 at 18:29:59 Danny # 6, things were once different but nowadays no Premier League manager will have any role at all in academy recruitment. As you say definitely Thelwell. Justin Doone 9 Posted 18/09/2024 at 23:04:31 Great name, hopefully a great Everton player in the near future! Welcome.Just wondering – why not leave him playing for Wimbledon and delay his move to the summer?
