Everton U18s finished one of the most successful seasons they have had for many years with a fine thumping victory over hated local rivals at the Kirkby Academy on Saturday afternoon.
Returning to the Under-18s line-up following impressive showings with the Under-21s, Braiden Graham fired the Toffees in front after just 19 minutes.
George Morgan then doubled the lead, finding the back of the net on 38 minutes to mark his seventh goal in 13 league matches for the U18s.
Two goals up at half-time, Keith Southern’s side continued their dominance in the second period, with Harvey Foster making it 3-0 from the edge of the box on 68 minutes.
The hosts were awarded a penalty-kick less than 10 minutes later, but Liverpool's striker missed from the spot to give Everton a fine and emphatic win in their final game of the season.
Everton U18s: Lukjanciks, Finney, Van Schoor (83' Poland), Davis, Gardner, Foster, Stewart (67' Lambert), Akarakiri (78' Matos), Morgan (78' Robert), Olayiwola, Graham (83' Wren).

Liverpool were awarded a penalty-kick less than 10 minutes later. Why always them?

I haven't seen him play yet but the England scouts obviously rate him.

He starts the move from just inside Liverpool's half, putting the ball wide to Everton's right-wing… then watch him sprint up the field and switch to the back of the Liverpool defence in acres of space and knock the ball home just a yard from the line!
A real poacher's goal with the instinct of a player with a real footballer's brain.

Though goodness knows they've given us enough reason over the decades.
They're the scally cousin who always breaks the rules, sometimes gets it right, forever getting the breaks, but always rubbing it in, especially when luck or or a bit of underhandedness goes against us.
Say no to hate speach !
