Bohemians defensive prospect Kevin Feely has confirmed via Twitter that he will be joining Charlton Athletic when the transfer window opens in January. Everton were reportedly very interested in bringing Feely to Goodison Park but the teen felt his immediate prospects were better in South London.

An explanation for Nikica Jelavic's poor form has come in the form of a claim by the Daily Express that the Croatian striker "lambasted" his teammate Kevin Mirallas for being selfish during the Merseyside derby against Liverpool last month.
The reports suggests that Jelavic has clashed with Mirallas before, and with relations having soured between the two, The Daily Express claims that he may want to leave Goodison Park.

According to Madrid-based sports newspaper, MarcaEverton have had an offer of €6M turned down by Real Madrid for Denis Cheryshev, a 21-year-old Russian winger who is a product of the Real Madrid "Cantera".
