The Daily Mail claims that Everton are ready to pounce for West Brom contract rebel Jonas Olsson with the defender's stay the The Hawthorns heading for an end this summer.

The dubious Daily Star now claims that Sir Alex Ferguson has kept a close check on Leighton Baines, as a long-term replacement for Patrice Evra and has supposedly had him 'monitored' for the last two years.
The Star claims Ferguson was hoping to snatch him for a cut-price £5million but Everton?s 'top brass' (sic) will apparently only talk at £15m.
Bayern Munich are also claimed to be keen to land Baines at the second attempt ? the German giants are believed to have tried two years ago to tempt the defender, who has just over three years left on his current Everton contract.

Both Fulham and newly promoted Southampton are being linked with a move for the England under-21-striker and their interest has pushed up the asking price to around the £8m mark. That could put Everton off as Moyes will again face financial restrictions over the summer and may have to sell before he can add to his side.
