According to The Mirror, Everton have supposedly made contact with Atalanta over the potential signing of Argentinean winger Matias Schelotto, who plies his trade in Serie A and is thought to have impressed with his energetic displays on the right flank.
Marcal? Really?

The Sun claims that Everton have their sights on Brazilian left-back Marcal as a long-term successor to Leighton Baines, who shows no sign of actually going anywhere.
Supposedly they will face stiff competition from a number of clubs including Hamburg, Ajax,and Monaco for Marcal, 23, who plays for Nacional in Portugal.

Moyes laughs off mistaken Anichebe report

After Nigerian football writer Colin Udoh tweeted that Reading have made a bid for Everton's Victor Anichebe, "one that's been accepted, it seems," David Moyes rejected the suggestion following tonight's FA Cup win at Cheltenham.
It turns out Mr Udoh meant ex-Everton Academy player Hope Akpan and not Big Vic.
