Defender Dick van Dijk (okay, his real name is Virgil) has claimed that Everton are hoping to strike a deal for his services but a director at his club Groningen insists that they have not received any offers.

Spurs reject Everton's Livermore bid

The Daily Mail claims that Everton have made a bid to sign Jake Livermore on loan but it has been rejected because Tottenham have no wish to strengthen one of their rivals for the Champions League places.
