Ooo... penalty against England in the first minute.
Referee gave it for clear handball by Creswell...

But wait! VAR says go take a second look. Creswell was holding hands behind his back but released one and let it flap as the ball came in from 8 or so meters away Hmmm.

Chalked off. Lucky England after very poor start.

Some of Hutchinson's play has been excellent. But that was a poorly overhit cross when he should have dome more before getting hooked.

Dont think they have much strength in that area Andrew.

The lad who started the game, Stansfield, played in League 1 for Birmingham last season.

Rowe, who is now playing there, scored 3 goals for Marseille all campaign.

A player called T Barry came on after 72 minutes with France 2-1 down to Denmark.

France scored two quick goals in the last 10 minutes to turn it around.

How much are Joe Cole and Jermaine Defoe getting paid for saying nothing?

And how can Italy keep playing in great kits, while Germany look like Marine 1972-73?

I see Merlin Rohl has come on for Germany. A Moyes target who we allegedly bid for in the Jan window. Wouldn't at all be surprised if we revisit that one this summer.

Until then, it was a game in which Germany were playing slow possession football, with Italy looking to go forward with pace and scored as a result.

Then they sat back to defend the lead.

I initially thought it was a poor header from Woltenmade, but in the replay, his body shape and the way he’s facing makes me think he meant it as a flick on,

The LW for the Dutch is like lightning. He's left Livramento for dead a few times in the first half.

Shame he doesn't seem to be able to do much once he gets the ball under control. (He'll score 2nd half!)
