Disclaimer () Michael Kenrick 1 Posted 08/05/2025 at 20:32:59 Hard to work up much interest in any of these games... all 0-0 after 30 minutes.Maybe I should default to whichever one is on Radio 5-Live. At least they give it some intensity. Paul Ferry 2 Posted 08/05/2025 at 20:34:34 Spuds on Radio 5, MK and I agree, I'll often stick on the 5live commentary. Michael Kenrick 3 Posted 08/05/2025 at 20:42:18 And now we have goals in all the other games, Paul.Doh! Although we do get to see Richarlison. Paul Ferry 4 Posted 08/05/2025 at 20:53:39 Brill MK, Athletic Club 1-0 up. Fingers crossed. If you have never been to Bilbao MK you should add it to the list. I used to be in the come home Richy camp but not so sure now. Maybe Levy coughing up half-wages in a loan.Nor did I see that Man Utd are down to ten. Brill. Paul Ferry 5 Posted 08/05/2025 at 20:56:01 Oh, I missed the Champ play-off - 1-0 Sheff Utd at Bristol HT - I've now got that on, it's on Sky Main Event. Paul Ferry 6 Posted 08/05/2025 at 21:20:41 Richy not happy at being subbed. Paul Ferry 7 Posted 08/05/2025 at 21:22:57 Solanke 1-0 Stephen Davies 8 Posted 08/05/2025 at 21:32:12 And it begins.https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11095/13363975/tottenham-transfer-news-everton-interested-in-re-signing-Richarlison-in-summer-transfer-window Rob Halligan 9 Posted 08/05/2025 at 21:32:39 Well thats both these semi finals done and dusted. ☹️☹️ Michael Kenrick 10 Posted 08/05/2025 at 21:40:46 All three English teams winning 5-1on aggregate. Paul Ferry 11 Posted 08/05/2025 at 21:51:17 USA USA USA USA 🇺🇸🇺🇸🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏👼👼👼👼🔔🔔🔔🔔🗽🗽🗽🗽🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸Pope Chuck I - USA USA USA USA 🇺🇸🙏👼🔔🗽Get in the hole! Brendan McLaughlin 12 Posted 08/05/2025 at 22:04:33 Paul #11I wonder if Trump will attempt another rebrand... "JesUSA" perhaps? Danny O'Neill 13 Posted 08/05/2025 at 22:08:32 So either Manchester United or Tottenham, who currently sit beneath us in the league will win a European trophy and subsequently qualify for the Champion's League next season.Nottingham Forest, who have had a tremendous season may not. Paul Ferry 14 Posted 08/05/2025 at 22:09:20 Brendan, don't let the administration see that for Sheedy's sake. Chicago is releasing white smoke everywhere. The Puerto Ricans are going nuts on the beaches. The poor pope supports the Cubs and likes his pizza Chicago-style. Brendan McLaughlin 15 Posted 08/05/2025 at 22:21:04 Paul #14Watched the announcement in a bar in Donegal, Ireland... I know.About as popular as Benitez to Everton to be honest.I tried to argue perhaps it was an an attempt to speak truth to Trump. Feck I get much much less abuse on ToffeeWeb! Mike Gaynes 16 Posted 08/05/2025 at 22:47:17 According to his brother John, still a Chicago resident, the new Pope is a baseball fan of the White Sox. That means this Pope knows a whole lot about ministering to the downtrodden, since the Sox are once again the worst team in the American League by a wide margin. John Raftery 17 Posted 08/05/2025 at 22:56:02 Danny (13) That demonstrates the widening gap between Premier League clubs and those in the rest of Europe. Its all down to money. Qualifying for the Europa Conference League would give us our best chance of winning a trophy; much easier than the Carabao or FA Cups. Paul Ferry 18 Posted 08/05/2025 at 23:04:13 Brendan, this pope has had meetings with Trump and his previous is not very promising. Very reactionary in many ways. Trump and he will meet in a warm embrace in Rome and/or DC. This Leo is way out of step with the views of the majority of Chicagoans. He has blasted gay marriage, gay couples adopting, trans-matters and other matters that most 'liberals' would be comfy with. This election is a retrograde step - the woman on the till told me when I was buying bog-roll for the last game at lunchtime - after the last fella. Of course this Leo is all for the poor, the meek, and the mild, but modern Milly he ain't.As a liberal catholic I would have liked to see the Filipino get the nod. But a step too far, right cardinals?
